Conditions

1. field of application

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all reservations in the hotel, group, seminar and banquet area.

2. Reservation & Confirmation

Reservations are confirmed to the guest in writing by e-mail or by post. For the guest reservations are binding with the confirmation of the Bad Ramsach Quellhotel. Changes of confirmations always take place in written form on both sides.

3. Meeting rooms & rooms

All rooms, including equipment, listed in the reservation confirmation will be made available to the guest in proper condition for the desired period of time. The guest must exercise all due care when using the rooms and their equipment. Smoking and cooking are strictly forbidden in all rooms. 

If the guest does not raise any objections when taking over the premises, the premises including equipment shall be deemed to have been taken over in perfect condition. Subsequent complaints cannot be asserted.

4. Number of guests

The rooms will be prepared according to the reservation confirmation. Changes in the number of participants must be reported no later than 12 noon on the day before arrival. Changes in the number of persons per room may affect the room price.

5. Pets

For pets the stay in the Bad Ramsach Quellhotel is subject to a charge. Pets must be registered at the time of reservation. If accompanied by pets, meals can be taken in the à la carte restaurant or on the terrace.

6. Special Services, Wellness & Fitness

Special services and individual wellness treatments require a certain preparation time. In the event of cancellation, the hotel reserves the right to charge the costs already incurred.

7. Therapy with medical prescription

For therapies and medical appointments, the provisions of the health insurance regulations apply. Appointments not cancelled or missed in time will be charged directly to the patient in accordance with Art. 8 of the contract between SPV and KSK, UVG and BAMV.

8. Meals

The confirmation shall state which meals are included in the room price. There is no reduction on meals not consumed. Room service is possible and will be charged with a surcharge of CHF 5 per order.

9. Services

No refunds will be made for unused fitness, spa or sauna tickets.

10. Changes, Cancellation Conditions and No-Show Regulations

Cancellations and/or changes are to be communicated to the Bad Ramsach Quellhotel as early as possible in written form. In the event of changes or cancellations of reserved hotel rooms, conference rooms or arrangements, the following invoice will be issued:

Accomodation with meals and/or Wellness

  • Until 72 hours before arrival - no costs
  • From 12 o'clock on the day before arrival - 80 % for the 1st Night
  • In case of early departure before dinner - CHF 50 per guest

In case of no-show the overnight stay will be charged according to your reservation.

Reservations with seminar packages and group trips

  • no costs until 30 days before the event
  • 29 to 14 days before the event 50 % of the agreed services
  • 13 to 4 days before the event 60 % of the agreed services
  • 3 to 0 days before the event 80% of the agreed services
  • In case of early departure 100 % of the agreed services

The basis for invoicing is the number of participants and the duration of the seminar, which is stated in the final confirmation of reservation.

Banquet Reservations

The definitive number of guests for the banquet booked must be announced 48 hours before the start of the event. In the case of no-shows by guests, the registered number of persons less 10% will be charged.
If the hotel is able to sell the arrangements elsewhere (for all reservations), the client does not incur any costs. The menu price multiplied by the number of guests stated in the reservation confirmation is understood to be the arrangement.

Please let us know of any delays; otherwise tables will be passed on after 30 minutes. These cancellations are free of charge.

Special services

All costs incurred by Bad Ramsach (music, decoration, organisation of special meals, etc.) will be charged at 100%.

11. Prices & billing conditions

All prices listed in the reservation confirmation are authoritative. The total amount includes all services used.

  • For individual guests, payment is always made by credit card or cash on departure.
  • In consultation with the reception, invoices with payment slip are possible.
  • Reservations for seminars and banquets will be sent by post, to be paid within 10 days.
  • For bus trips, we receive a voucher on the day of the event, which we charge after departure. Payable within 10 days.
  • Special conditions are to be determined in advance and are only valid in written form.

12. Liability & damages

The organiser is liable for all damage to property and personal injury, including any consequential damage, caused to the hotel, its employees or third parties by himself or his attendants during the stay.

The hotel is not liable for objects brought in by the organiser or his accompanying person. Any insurance is the responsibility of the guest.

13. Applicable law and legal venue

Disputes are exclusively subject to Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction for the assessment of disputes is Häfelfingen BL.
