Throughout their lives, the entrepreneurial couple have been committed to their values of "commitment, responsibility and meaning" - both professionally and privately. With enthusiasm, untiring commitment and support from his wife Rhéane, Felix Suhner has built up the small hotel group over the last few years. After 20 years in the operations, the graduate hotelier and trained chef decided to shift his tasks to the development of the hotel group. Together with his wife and the team of the Balance Familie, additional values for guests and hotels are created true to the vision of "living the good". Their passion is hotel architecture and the design of wellness oases. In their spare time, they find ideas for new concepts together with their two children at international trade fairs and in the hottest hotels at home and abroad.

This creates an image in the other person; an idea of what the Balance Familie is and embodies. That is why we have formulated binding guiding principles for our behaviour, which consist of three supporting pillars: Yes-philosophy (committed), clear leadership (responsible) and harmony (meaningful).
1862 Johann Siegrist receives permission to run a Pintwirtschaft.
1880 Already in 1880 the name "zur Seerose" appears for the first time.
1902 The owners of the farm/pension changed often and the business grew into a restaurant.
1836 Josef Plüss acquires the estate. At that time it consisted of a dwelling with 2 vaulted cellars and a beamed cellar in stone and tiled roof, a rear house with hall and arbour, 2 stables, 1 barn with 2 stables, 1 shed with stable and feeding tents, the bathroom and a wooden house.
1863 The estate, which comprises 65 Jucharten, becomes the property of Rudolf Jenny-Schmutz von Langenbruck. The guesthouse and the bathroom are newly furnished and managed with great expertise and genuine care for the well-being of the guests for almost 100 years.
1960 Erhard Leuthardt acquires the Ramsach. With him and his daughter Vreni the new age begins in Bad Ramsach.
1966 On 22 March, the newly renovated Kurhaus fell victim to a major fire. Erhard Leuthardt immediately plans the new building and receives the building permit on 7 October 1966.
1967 The new Kurhotel Bad Ramsach is opened on 10 December 1967. After a construction period of only one year, today's hotel building with indoor swimming pool, sauna and gymnastics hall was built.
1970 The Ramsacher spring water is now poured out as spa and mineral water.
1972 The house Silva is built as a Garnihotel in order to increase the number of beds by 20 units.
1993 Year of Erhard Leuthardt's death. His daughter Vreni Kälin takes over the management of the hotel until her death in December 2016.
2007/2008 The entire heating system will be renewed in summer 2007. All old pumps and valves will be replaced. All windows in the main building will be replaced. In the bathing area the last wooden parts disappear and are replaced by high-quality chrome steel.
2015 In accordance with the official requirements, the spring catchment, reservoirs and drinking water treatment will be completely renewed.
2016 In May Felix Suhner, entrepreneur and owner of the Balance Famile, takes over the spa hotel Bad Ramsach. Under the new name Bad Ramsach Quellhotel and under the management of Hermann Mazotti, the first conversion and renovation work begins soon.
2017 The environmental work by Enzo Enea is completed.
2018 Under the motto "Alice in Wonderland", the completely renovated panorama restaurant and seminar room will delight guests.
