Baselland is rich in scenic beauties, impressive nature and cultural treasures. Whether in the footsteps of the Romans, during a boat trip on the Rhine or on hikes in the Jura, there is much to discover in the Basel region. Baselland in the north-west of Switzerland and just outside the city of Basel borders directly on neighbouring Germany and France and is famous for its nearby Jura landscape with its almost untouched nature.
