Bad Ramsach is accepted by the Federal Department of Home Affairs as a Swiss health resort within the meaning of Article 40 KVG and is therefore approved as a health insurance provider. The house is under the medical direction of Dr. Claudio Schmutz.

The hotel's own spring water not only rises near the hotel, but also benefits the refreshment and well-being of our guests. Around 350 metres from the hotel, the natural healing spring that has made Bad Ramsach famous since the 15th century splashes out of the Wisenberg. Filtered through the marl of the Jura shell limestone and enriched with its minerals, the officially approved spring water is a real lifeline of the hotel.

The mineral spring is filled at a rate of about 79 litres per minute. The water is a calcium sulphate water of medium concentration with 1313 mg of dissolved solids per litre: calcium, magnesium and strontium, total 199.2 mval %, with calcium dominating. Sulfate 81.8 mval % Hydrogen carbonate 17.2 mval %. The mineral spa has a water temperature of 34 degrees. With its permanent pH value of at least 7, it is considered purely alkaline. The minerals contained in the water promote the neutralisation of the acid-base balance in a natural way. It has a dehydrating, swelling and firming effect on the tissue, especially the bones.
